1. Controller

top10values is an independent project that offers a self-discovery game based on comparisons of personal values. You can contact us through the contact form available in your profile once you have signed in to the app.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: your email address and the credentials needed to sign in. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account; we never receive your Google password.
• Game data: your choices when comparing values, the resulting score for each value and your progress (number of comparisons made).
• Values report: if you generate your detailed report, the text is produced from your results using an artificial intelligence model (Google Gemini) and is saved to your account so you can consult it again.
• Contact messages: the name, email and message you voluntarily send us through the contact form.
• Browsing and advertising data: Google Analytics and Google AdSense may collect usage data and place cookies in your browser, as described in section 4.

3. Purpose

We use this data to provide the game and your results, generate your values report, reply to your messages, understand how the site is used and fund the service through advertising. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Cookies and advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display ads and Google Analytics to measure site usage. Both services may install cookies or other identifiers in your browser to, among other things, show more relevant ads based on your activity on this site and others.

If you browse from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we will ask for your consent before using cookies for personalized advertising. You can change your mind at any time from the consent message itself or from Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com. 5. Third parties involved

• Supabase: hosts the database where your account, results and report are stored.
• Google: provides Google sign-in, report generation (Gemini), usage measurement (Analytics) and advertising (AdSense).
• Hostinger: hosts the web application.

6. Your rights and data retention

You can delete your account and all your data yourself from your profile (the “Delete my account” button): your profile, comparisons, ratings, results and reports and the contact messages sent with your email are erased. You can also request access to or rectification of your personal data, or object to its processing, by writing to us through the contact form. We keep your data for as long as your account remains active.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or to applicable regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
